The hospital has been operating since its opening under a contract with the National Health Insurance Fund and the treatment of patients through clinical pathways is free of charge.  In terms of Cardiology and Invasive Cardiology, the hospital is the successor of SMDL "Cardiolife" - the first private invasive laboratory in Bulgaria, which began operating in December 2006. From the beginning, the methodological leader of the project is Assoc. Prof. B. Finkov. In recent years, as part of the team of the laboratory a number of leading interventional cardiologists, helped us to create medical care at the highest professional level in the spirit of good medical practice. For the first time in the district of Lovech in 2008 we implemented and developed 24/7 organisation for primary angioplasty of acute myocardial infarction, as a result of which more than 15,000 patients received modern and life-saving treatment. At the same time, we have preserved and developed the collaboration with the leading Cardiology Clinics in Sofia, where our patients, if necessary, receive highly specialised treatment completely free of charge.
