Hospital treatment in Cardiolife Hospital - Lovech
As of now, Cardiolife has a contract for treatment of 19 clinical pathways with the National Health Insurance Fund. The hospital is multidisciplinary. It has a Cardiology Department with 18 beds and an Intensive Care Unit with the possibility of resuscitation treatment with 6 beds, a Department of Imaging Diagnostics and a Clinical Laboratory. The opening of an Internal Department with sectors of Endocrinology and Gastroenterology, as well as a Surgical Department is forthcoming. Each of the rooms has a separate bathroom and toilet. The feeding of the patients is carried out by catering and is in accordance with their medical condition.
The invasive sector is equipped with a modern digital angiograph, with possibilities for examination of both the vessels of the heart and the peripheral vessels.
The functional sector has a modern ultrasound, ergometer and opportunities for Holter ECG and RR.

Dr. Varban Stoyanov
Dr. Varban Stoyanov is the head of the Cardiology Department. He is a certified interventional cardiologist. He graduated medicine at the Medical University - Sofia (1997). He has two acquired specialties - "Internal Medicine" (2007) and "Cardiology" (2012). After graduation he worked consecutively in the Department of Internal Medicine at Pirdop Hospital, in the Clinic of Cardiology and Invasive Cardiology at St. Ekaterina University Hospital in Sofia and in the Department of Invasive Cardiology at Pirogov Hospital. Since 2012 he works in the Department of Invasive Cardiology at Acibadem City Clinic Tokuda Hospital. Since 2009 he is part of the team of SMDL "Cardiolife" Lovech. He has studied in the Netherlands, France and Germany. He is the author and co-author of publications. He has numerous participations in international and national forums. Member of the Bulgarian and European Society of Cardiology and the Bulgarian Society of Interventional Cardiology.
Dr. Emil Denev
Dr. Emil Denev is a certified interventional cardiologist. He graduated medicine at the Medical Institute - Pleven (1985). He has two acquired specialties - "Internal Medicine" (1991) and "Cardiology" (1996). After graduation he worked consecutively at the Municipal Hospital in Nikopol, as an internist, University Hospital - Pleven as an Intensive Cardiologist. Since 2008 until 2011 he is an interventional cardiologist at USBAL in Cardiology - Pleven. Since 2011 he is an interventional cardiologist at SMDL "Cardiolife" Lovech. He has an expert level in echocardiography. Member of the Bulgarian and European Cardiac Societies and the Bulgarian Society of Interventional Cardiology. Co-author of publications. He has specialised in Milan, Italy.
Dr. Emilia Petseva
Specialist in cardiology. She graduated at the Medical Institute - Pleven (2005), worked in a clinic for propaedeutics of internal medicine at the University Hospital "Georgi Stranski" in Pleven until 2007. Since 2007 until 2015 she has worked in the Emergency Department at "Prof. Dr. P. Stoyanov" hospital, Lovech. Since 2015 until 2017 is a resident doctor in the 1st Internal Ward at "Prof. Dr. P. Stoyanov" hospital, Lovech.
Dr. Rumen Petkov
Dr. Rumen Petkov is a specialist in anesthesiology and intensive care. He graduated medicine at the Medical University - Pleven (1996). He specialized in "Anesthesiology and Intensive Care" in MHAT - Lovech and UMHAT - Pleven. He worked consecutively from 1997-1998. in ORB, Razgrad, from 1998-2015. in MHAT "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" Lovech. From 2015 to 2017 in MHAT "Dr. Stoycho Hristov" Sevlievo and MHAT - Pleven at HMI - Sofia. From 09.2017 until 03.2018 in MHAT "Heart and Brain" Pleven. Masters endotracheal inhalation anesthesia and general venous anesthesia.

Dr. Malinka Stanimirova graduated in medicine in 1989 at the Pleven Medical Institute. In 1998 she has acquired the specialty "Internal Medicine" and in 2001 - the specialty "General Medicine". She has worked as a general practitioner in the village of Lisets, the village of Presyaka, the village of Smochan and the village of Gostinya for a total of 13 years and 6 months. In RIPCPH Lovech she has been a chief expert in the Department of Public Health for 4 years. Since 2007 until 2018 she has worked consecutively as a resident doctor in the Functional Department, PFO and the First Internal Department of MHAT "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" Lovech.

Chief nurse. She graduated in 1989 at PVMI-Pleven. In 2007 she obtained a Bachelor's degree in "Health Care Management" at MU-Pleven. She started her career as a nurse in the Children's Ward of MHAT-AD, Lovech in 1989. Since 1996 until 2017 has held the position of Senior Nurse in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Hospital "Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" Lovech.
Snr. nurse. Ayten Mustafa Hassan
Senior Nurse at the Cardiology Department. She graduated in 1989 at PVMI-Pleven. In 1993 she graduated at PVMI Pleven. In 2003 she obtains a Bachelor's degree in Health Care Management. In 2004 she graduated in "Social Management" with a Master's degree at the University of Veliko Tarnovo "St. St. Cyril and Methodius". In 2015 graduated in "Health Care Management" at MU-Pleven. She started her career as a nurse in the Urology Department of MHAT-AD, Lovech in 1989. She has held the position of Senior Nurse in the Pneumophthisiatric, Urological and Hemodialysis Units.
